How to spend a holiday so that the child retains for a long time the joy of empathy that he felt in these moments? In our group, we celebrate birthdays in different ways. But the main attributes of the holiday are gifts from friends and food. First, we display a greeting card with a photo of the birthday boy in the reception area for guests, parents and children, so that everyone knows about the holiday. And then in our free time we celebrate the holiday with the children. In January, our birthday girl was Ksyusha Zotova.
Let's play a fun game.
The birthday girl stands in a circle. And the teacher, teacher, psychologist and children say:
Happy birthday! We want to play with you! How old is our birthday girl? For example, five.
We will all clap in unison five times: 1,2,3,4,5. We all stomp together five times: 1,2,3,4,5. We will all jump together five times: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. With the last words, the one to whom the bundle is closest covers it with his palm, squeezes it into a fist, and holds it so that from the outside it is not noticeable what he has in his hand. Everyone continues to hold on to the rope. The driver opens his eyes and tries to guess whose fist the knot is in. The one who has the knot becomes the driver.
And now the most wonderful time has come! It will be an interesting gift for the birthday boy!
Felt crafts “Butterflies”.
We fold a felt napkin like an accordion, fold the fleecy wire in half and twist it, thus making the body of a butterfly.
We insert the napkin and twist the wire a couple more times. We insert the bead and turn the antennae in different directions. If desired, you can put beads on the tips of the butterfly's antennae.
They danced, played, and spun merrily. The birthday boy treats all the kids with candy!

Tasks:
• To form children’s ideas about celebrating a birthday in a children’s group, preserving the traditions of their favorite holiday.

• Cultivate friendly relations between children and their mentors.
Recommendations for preparing for the holiday:
1. At a parent-teacher meeting at the beginning of the school year, parents and teachers discuss and decide what gifts to give to children according to their age, interests, and gender. For example, for older preschoolers: encyclopedias for girls about flowers, cooking, and for boys about ships and military equipment.
2. Agree with parents in advance on the date if the birthday falls on a weekend or vacation.
3. Making paraphernalia together with parents for the holiday:
the birthday symbol is a beautiful number that announces to everyone how old the child is turning;
outfit of the birthday boy or girl;
surprise chest - it contains a gift for the birthday boy, sometimes gifts for guests, for example, coloring books;
pencil winders for competitive play and so on.

In our group, over the course of 4 years, our own traditions of celebrating the birthday person were born and took root.
• In the junior and middle groups we distinguish autumn, winter, spring and summer birthday boys. Accordingly, we decorate the stand with autumn leaves and photographs of the child, or snowflakes, or spring and summer flowers. The child remembers what time of year his birthday is. In the senior and preparatory groups, we celebrate the name days “Sentyabrinki”, “Oktyabrini”, “Noyabrinki”, “Dekabrinki” and so on, so that the child remembers the month of his birthday. We write the date and month on the postcard.
