Each parent wants their children to be healthy, prosperous, law-abiding people. In this regard, I would like to remind parents of simple rules, following which, you can prevent a negative impact on children, and prevent them from falling into the circle of criminals, drug addicts, substance abusers and alcoholics:
Ø Constantly pay attention to a responsible attitude towards the safety of personal belongings, including mobile phones, bicycles and the appearance of new things that you did not purchase.
Ø Require your children to wear reflective elements (flickers) at night. The life and health of children is much more expensive than the cost of a flicker. Explain to children that when crossing the roadway they must be as careful as possible and begin crossing only after the traffic has stopped. Do not think that trouble only comes to the families of others.
Ø Do not allow children to spend aimless, unsupervised time on the street. Sooner or later this will lead to the commission of offenses. At any given time, you must know where, with whom your child is, and what he is doing. You should know the social circle of your son or daughter with first and last names, addresses and telephone numbers.
Ø Do not allow your child to be outside the home late in the day or at night. If your son or daughter asks to spend the night with friends or acquaintances, rest assured that you will not expect anything good from this. Typically, in such situations, your child wants to have an uncontrolled and fun time. Most crimes by teenagers are committed late and at night, and your children themselves can become victims of crime.
Ø Be sure to attend parent-teacher meetings, keep in touch with the class teacher, social teacher, and seek help from an educational psychologist.
Ø Communicate more with your child about his affairs, problems, successes and failures, relationships with peers, including at school and in the community.
Ø Your children should clearly understand that you have an extremely negative attitude towards drinking alcohol under age; remind them of this regularly. Don’t even think about giving them alcoholic drinks, including on holidays. If you do this, then you yourself contribute to the “education” of a future alcoholic. In accordance with Article 20.22 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, drinking alcoholic, low-alcohol drinks and beer in public places, or appearing drunk in a way that offends human dignity and morality, entails a fine of one thousand to two thousand rubles. If your child is under 16 years old, then according to Article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, for failure by parents to fulfill their duties in raising minor children, which resulted in the minor committing an administrative offense or crime, a fine is imposed on parents in the amount of one hundred to five hundred rubles.
Ø If you allow your child to smoke or “turn a blind eye to it,” then you risk that, in addition to health problems, the child will acquire other bad habits in the future: drinking alcohol, toxic substances, and drugs. Furthermore, in accordance with Art. 6.24 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, smoking in places where it is prohibited in accordance with the law, including in educational institutions and on their territory, entails a fine of five hundred to one thousand rubles.

Consultation for parents “Child safety on the street and at home”
Safety is not just a sum of conventional knowledge, but the ability to behave correctly in various situations.
Motto – Safety
.
We must see, foresee, take into account.
If possible, avoid everything
And where necessary, call for help.
Danger
– the central concept
of life safety activities , it is hidden.
Signs that define danger are: Ø Threat to life.
Ø Possibility of causing damage to health.
Ø Violation of the conditions for the normal functioning of human organs and systems.
the child’s physical capabilities , which, combined with increased curiosity and the desire for independence, often lead to the occurrence of traumatic situations, mainly in everyday life. This is confirmed by medical statistics showing that of all childhood injuries, domestic injuries account for 50% to 75%; of these, 42% of the injured are children in the first six years of life.
The most common injuries are: wounds and bruises; burns; electrical injuries; poisoning; entry of foreign bodies into the body. Therefore, it is extremely important to create conditions in a preschool educational institution and family that allow the child to systematically learn the rules of safe behavior .
In extreme situations, when they need to decide what to do, preschoolers become lost and fall into a state of hopelessness and insecurity.
The child makes decisions slowly and often incorrectly, as he is lost, not knowing what to do.
Keeping children safe in the kitchen :
ü Use only the back burners of the stove and turn the handles of the pans towards the wall.
ü Keep your child away from the hot oven door.
ü Choose a kettle without a wire or with a short curled wire.
ü Pour out the remaining boiling water.
ü When the hot iron is turned off, it should cool down in an inaccessible place. Do not leave the wire hanging.
ü Install safety locks on doors and cabinets to prevent children from reaching knives , matches and cleaning products.
Ensuring the safety of children on the playground and outside the home :
Cars parked near the house pose a great danger (drivers may not notice the baby, or the car will drive itself)
.
ü Plants in a circle. Kids often play with picked plants, but not all of them may be harmless .
ü Open sewer manholes often cause serious injuries.
ü Swing. It is necessary to explain to the child that the swing needs to be approached from the side, and to go around it at a great distance; you can climb off and sit on the swing only when it has completely stopped.
ü Roller skating and cycling. Do not forget about protective equipment ( they should be the right size for your child your child about the rules of movement and the speed of movement.
Ensuring the safety of children in the living room:
ü Remove tablecloths and use napkins instead. A child can pull off the tablecloth and knock over everything on the table.
ü Lock up all bottles of alcohol. Never leave glasses of hot drinks or alcohol on a child's coffee table , low shelf, or television.
ü Install guards in front of open fire and a spark barrier. Always make sure your baby is not left alone in a room with an open fire.
ü Do not think that the child cannot climb somewhere. Being quite curious, he will always consider all shelves, tables and chairs as an interesting target for his exploration.
ü Keep house flowers out of his reach. Some of them are poisonous or cause an allergic reaction.
ü Protect sharp corners of tables and cabinets.
ü Cover with safety film. Label glass surfaces with stickers.
ü Keep your child's within his reach. Don't put them high on a shelf. The baby may try to get to them.
ü Place chairs with their backs against the wall so that the child does not tip them over.
ü Block electrical outlets. Use one plug per outlet.
Keeping safe in the bathroom:
ü Keep the temperature of the electric towel dryer low.
ü Place a lock on the door out of reach of the child so that he cannot lock himself.
ü Cover the gas shower with protective film. Set the water heater thermostat to a maximum of 54°C to prevent your baby from getting scalded .
ü If your child is curious , install a lock on the toilet lid and do not use toilet scents, as children often chew them.
When driving on the sidewalk.
1. Keep to the right.
2. The adult must be on the side of the roadway.
3. If the sidewalk is next to a road, hold your child's hand .
4. Teach your child , when walking along the sidewalk, to carefully watch cars leaving the yard.
5. Explain to children that throwing glass and stones on the road is prohibited. This could lead to trouble.
6. Do not teach children to go out onto the roadway; only carry strollers and sleds on the sidewalk.
Do you want your child to follow safety rules when behaving on the street and at home? Great! The first thing to do is to strictly carry them out yourself. It is our actions that children copy, often down to the smallest detail. Therefore, there are no special “rules for children” - there are safety rules for everyone. And it depends only on you whether the child will follow these rules or not. Remember that actions common to adults often pose danger to children.
And most importantly: build your relationship with your children on the basis of trust from early childhood.
Don't be afraid to tell your child about your problems - this will help him tell you about his. Teach children not to be afraid of their parents and tell them the truth about all incidents in their lives - this will help to avoid many problems in the future.
