Progress of the lesson

Educator:

Guys, what happened to our doll Katya? She sits and is sad. Let's ask her; Katerina, why are you so sad?

Kate

: “The bunny promised to come visit me, but he’s not here.”

Educator

: “Don’t be sad Katya, if the bunny promised to come, he will definitely come.”

— Knock on the door.

Educator

: oh, someone is knocking? Probably this bunny came to us. — The teacher comes to the door and takes the hare.

— The bunny greets the children and the Katya doll.

Educator:

“Bunny, why did you come to us?”

Bunny:

I’m bored walking in the forest alone, so I came to invite the doll Katya to go for a walk with me.

Educator

: “Katya, do you want to go for a walk?”

Kate:

“Yes, I want to go for a walk with the bunny, but I don’t know how to dress.

The teacher takes the doll and puts the bunny on a chair.”

Educator

: “Guys, can we help Katya get dressed?”

Children:

"Yes!"

Educator

: “It’s cold outside, there’s a lot of snow and we need to dress the Katya doll warmly.”

The teacher reads a poem:

White fluffy snow

Spinning in the air

And the ground is quiet

Falls, lies down.

Educator

: Doll Katya says that she wants to go for a walk, but it’s cold outside, there’s a lot of snow, so you need to dress warmly. Guys, do you know how to dress? Let's remember what to wear in winter? Children look at the dressing algorithm and name tights, a jacket, warm pants, boots, fur coat, hat, mittens.

Let's help Katya get dressed for a walk (there is a beautiful box with things for the doll on the table). The children, called one by one, take things out of the box, independently and sequentially put them on the doll, name an item of clothing (tights, jacket, warm pants, boots, hat, fur coat, mittens).

Educator:

Well done boys!

Katya doll:

“Thank you guys for your help! I have prepared a fun game for you. Do you want to play with me?

Children

: "Yes!"

Children stand in a circle, the doll sits in the center on a chair.

Educator:

First, we will warm our fingers (finger exercises are performed).

Varieties

Doll clothes are usually divided into several types based on the intended purpose of the doll. The texture, cut, and style directly depend on the type of toy. Let's look at what outfits for dolls can most often be found in modern life.

For gaming

Game cookies are traditionally classified as types intended for active children's games. This includes all modern dolls: from mini copies of girls with pronounced feminine figures to baby dolls depicting plump newborn babies:

  1. Clothing toys in the form of a small child, for example, a doll, Baby Born, Reborn and their analogues. This doll's wardrobe, as a rule, includes all the things necessary for a newborn or one-year-old baby:
      Romper or panties made of soft fabrics in delicate colors;
  2. Undershirts, T-shirts, T-shirts;
  3. Small dresses and sundresses look good on girl dolls, funny suits on boy dolls;
  4. A doll outfit set would be incomplete without a bonnet, hat, bright headband, booties or soft shoes;
  5. Knitted sets look great: blouses with a hood, overalls, dresses.
  6. Outfits for dolls from popular brands: Barbie, Winx, Monster High, Bratz. The fashion sets of these dolls represent a carefully thought-out, stylish look. The costume can depend on the character or the doll's image, and can also change depending on the wishes, artistic vision, and taste of the owner of the toy. Since the main role of such dolls is to develop style, select and create thoughtful images, during the game the original outfit is often supplemented with new outfits and various designer wardrobe items. The clothes of these doll fashionistas can be divided into several groups:
  • Original fashionable outfits. The clothes in which the doll is sold represent the image of a modern girl (on a walk, on vacation, on a romantic evening). Often complemented by appropriate accessories and stylish jewelry;
  • An outfit that defines a profession or type of activity. For example, a doctor doll, a hairdresser doll, a rescue doll;
  • Outfits that identify the fairy-tale or fantasy image of the toy. Outfit copying the dress of any feature or animated film (Rapunzel, Cinderella, Fairy, Queen of Hearts);
  • Author's outfit. Often replaces or complements the doll's original outfit. It has a huge number of variations, styles, and manufacturing methods. However, this group of outfits is distinguished by its artistic approach, tailoring in a single copy and, as a rule, painstaking handwork.

For ritual and protective

Protective and ritual figurines were revered as the personification of ancient gods, beregins and a wide variety of spirits. Such dolls protected loved ones, the household, the comfort of the home, and also ensured success in any endeavor. Considering that the dolls were made from natural fabrics, straw and thread, the outfit and body of the sacred figurine were quite often a single whole.

Features of making handmade clothes for protective dolls include:

  • Assembling a doll or parts of its clothing without cutting or stabbing tools (needles, scissors). Usually by tying or winding threads;
  • Use only natural fabrics and threads (cotton, linen, hemp);
  • Using protective ornaments as embroidery on a shirt, dress, belt, or headband (most often with red thread).

For utilitarian options

Utilitarian dolls include household items made in the shape of a doll. A typical example of such a doll can be considered a teapot figurine, a pincushion doll, or a candy bowl. Since this toy is actively used in household chores, clothes for a utilitarian doll should be durable, easy to wash, and non-staining, while decorating the interior with brightness, beauty, and cheerfulness, making any home more comfortable. Outfits for utilitarian dolls stand out:

  • National traits and special characteristics. Most often, the warmer for the teapot is decorated with a Russian lady or a ruddy, portly merchant's wife in a colorful, whimsically decorated dress with a fluffy, quilted warmer skirt;
  • Special cut. In most cases, it is the clothes that are the functional part of a utilitarian doll. For example, a skirt with large pockets for sweets, a multi-layered wide tea warmer petticoat, a pincushion hat.

For textile

Doll clothes for textile toys are similar in many respects to the outfits of utilitarian and protective figurines. The templates by which outfits for textile dolls will be sewn, in most cases, do not have specific sizes, because each textile doll is unique, being the result of the work of one author. In clothing, the artist strives to convey the image and character of his textile toy, decorating the outfit to his liking.

The doll clothes of these toys can be of two types: removable and non-removable. The removable one allows you to change clothes on the textile figurine, and the non-removable one is either sewn to the doll or is part of the doll’s cut.

Jewelry and accessories

A doll's look will seem dull and artificial without decorations, small fittings and accessories for doll clothes. To make the outfit look complete, you need to pay attention to small details:

  1. Doll accessories are not only a functional necessity, but also complete the entire look. Colored large buttons will give the toy a mischievous and spontaneous look, and lacing, rivets and a zipper will tell about the independent, free character of the doll;
  2. Decorative decorations are a mandatory attribute of historical doll clothing. All kinds of rhinestones, beads, seed beads, and glass beads have been decorating the costumes of aristocrats, as well as the dresses of rich ladies, for hundreds of years. In addition, decorated clothes for dolls are complemented with miniature removable jewelry: earrings, tiaras, brooches, necklaces;
  3. Additional accessories for dolls are also often used as the finishing touch to a toy’s outfit. A designer doll-musician cannot do without a miniature violin or trumpet, an angel doll needs snow-white wings, a shoemaker needs a leather apron and a hammer, and a languid lover needs a photograph or portrait of his lady love.
