Drawing a standing cartoon tiger
If mothers have never tried to draw tigers, this does not mean that nothing will work out. But we will learn according to the principle from simple to complex. Therefore, let's start with a naive one, that is, with a tiger similar to those depicted in cartoons. Moreover, for the youngest children, so that they would not be afraid. Like this one.
You need to prepare:
- a simple hard-soft pencil and felt-tip pens;
- landscape sheet or piece of office paper;
- eraser to correct mistakes and shortcomings.
Well, then let’s start drawing, following the step-by-step instructions.
- Closer to the upper left corner of the sheet, draw one large circle - the head and two more small circles inside it. These will be the eyes.
- From the inner lower corners of the eyes, draw two lines to the bottom of the head in the form of a corner, then connect them with a cross to form the face of a tiger. The photo shows very clearly how to do this.
- At the top of the head draw ears - two semicircles, and under the muzzle draw a square - this will be the chin (lower jaw) of the tiger. Draw triangles from the ears to the chin. This will be the fur on the animal's neck and cheeks.
- From the middle of the right ear, draw a line for the back, which will be 2.5 times longer than the diameter of the head, and round it off. From the lower right corner of the tiger's chin, draw a slightly rounded line parallel to the back (chest line) and connect them together. From where these two lines meet, draw the outline of the hind leg and an oval foot.
- Then draw the remaining paws of the animal and its tail. Watch the sizes. All four paws should “stand” on the same line.
- Using a black felt-tip pen, draw the eyes of the tiger - the eyelids should extend beyond the upper arc of the eye circumference. Don't forget to define the pupils more clearly.
- Next, use a felt-tip pen to outline the animal’s muzzle, beard and ears. Inside the ears you draw another semicircle, and around the head you draw fur. On the forehead, two brackets and stripes indicate a natural tiger pattern. As you can see, we already have a very serious image of a wild striped cat.
- Now outline the head and draw crescent stripes on the sides. Don't forget about the fangs on both sides of the lower jaw. To make them clearly visible, shade them.
- All that remains is to outline the entire body of the predator in black and draw stripes on it. Using hatching, add shadows under the head, on the shoulders and legs of the tiger, as well as on the ground to give the drawing more realism.
Now color the tiger with felt-tip pens or paints, and the drawing is ready.
