Work plan for self-education “Lego construction”
Self-education work plan
" Lego construction as the development and formation of creative abilities of children of middle preschool age."
Goal: To promote the development of technical creativity in preschool children, to provide them with the opportunity for creative self-realization through mastering LEGO construction .
Tasks:
1. Teach children to act according to a simple algorithm, scheme, model.
2. To form in children cognitive and research activity, the desire for mental activity, creativity, and initiative.
3. Develop fine motor skills, aesthetic taste, constructive skills and abilities.
4. Develop attention, memory, imaginative and spatial thinking.
5. To develop preschoolers’ interest in modeling, design, and creativity.
6. Improve children’s communication skills when working in pairs or teams.
Expected Result:
1. Children know how to act according to a simple algorithm, scheme, pattern.
2. Children have developed cognitive and research activity, a desire for mental activity, they show creativity and initiative.
3. Children have developed fine motor skills, aesthetic taste, constructive skills and abilities.
4. Children have developed attention, memory, imaginative and spatial thinking.
5. Preschoolers have developed an interest in modeling, design, and creativity.
6. Children’s communication skills have been improved when working in pairs or teams.
Relevance.
Play is the most important companion of childhood; in the process, children begin to imitate, try their hand, fantasize, and experiment. Only in play does a child receive enormous opportunities for physical, aesthetic and social-communicative development. Construction for preschoolers is an important productive type of activity for modeling both real-life objects and objects imagined by the children themselves. In this sense, a unique phenomenon in the world of games for all children, which allows them to communicate without problems in one universal language - the language of games - is the LEGO . It gives the child the opportunity not only to assemble a toy, but also to play with it, modify it, transform it, based on their own ideas and imagination or in accordance with the assignment or instructions. Playing with small details promotes the development of fine motor skills, stimulates the development of active speech, imagination, and creative abilities.
Novelty:
The program consists of a research and technical orientation of training, which is based on new information technologies, which contributes to the development of information culture and interaction with the world of technical creativity. The author's embodiment of the idea into automated models and projects is especially important for older preschoolers, who have the most pronounced research (creative)
activity.

Memo for parents “What is Lego construction ?”
Children, through Lego construction activities, increase mental and physical performance . They expand their understanding of objects and phenomena, develop the ability to observe, analyze, compare, identify characteristic, essential features of objects and phenomena, and generalize them according to their characteristics.
work with LEGO constructors in a playful and educational way allows them to learn a lot of important and interesting things, and also develops skills necessary for later life.
The main task of Lego construction is the process during which children learn to select appropriate parts and, by building structures, change them. This activity is carried out in the space of the educational area “Cognition”
.
Any educational activity is unthinkable without the development of speech skills, therefore Lego construction is integrated with the field of education “Communication”
: conversation, explanation of various phenomena or description of objects. Children not only describe their models and talk about their purpose, but also answer questions during construction, and not only to questions from their peers, but also from their teachers, and, naturally, they ask them themselves.
This develops communication skills, since in joint activities children can not only be interested in what others are doing and how, but also receive or give advice on fastening methods, exchange parts, or even combine their models for a larger-scale design.
Before starting constructive activities, children discuss what exactly they will model, what the purpose of this or that design is, whether it helps a person in solving certain problems. This is how children develop social skills: independence , initiative, responsibility, mutual understanding necessary for interacting with other children.
Lego of parents, who are able to influence the development of children’s abilities and the identification of their talents.
Children strive to follow safety precautions. In addition, they constantly make sure that their desktop is in order , and all the parts of the designer are in the right quantities in their cells. These skills contribute to the development of areas of education "Socialization"
,
“Labor”
,
“Safety”
.
The artistic and aesthetic direction of educational activity in Lego construction is realized in the design and transformation of ready-made models, when not only the designer can be used, but also paper, pencils, and waste material to create a holistic image of the work.
From all of the above, we can conclude that Lego construction is easily integrated with almost all areas of educational activity.
